Committees
Joining a committee is a great way to help plan fun school events, support fundraising and school programs, connect with other families, and make a positive impact on our school community. Take a look and sign up for one (or more!) that fits your interests and availability — every bit of involvement helps strengthen our school.
Works with the Fundraising Chair to help plan and support PTO fundraising efforts throughout the year — including Dine & Share nights, Apex Fun Run, popcorn and flower sales, spirit wear, and exploring new ideas to support school programs and activities.
Works with the Events Chair to help plan and select PTO events for the school year and support the overall event calendar. Once events are chosen, sub-committees are formed so volunteers can take a hands-on role in planning and running events like Book Fair, Trunk or Treat, Bingo Night, Staff Appreciation, and more.
Explore More is an end-of-year event where students rotate through hands-on workshops led by parents, teachers, and community members. The committee helps plan workshops, assign students, promote the event, and coordinate volunteers to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
Helps coordinate Picture Day and create the school yearbook. This includes scheduling the photographer, organizing Picture Day, taking photos at school events throughout the year, and working together to design and distribute the yearbook as a special keepsake for the school community.
Helps plan and organize a memorable end-of-year celebration for 5th-grade students, along with a special gift from the PTO. Members may also assist with fundraising to support the celebration and help ensure a meaningful send-off as students prepare for middle school.
